About JSTAP

Jewish Students Taking Action for Peace is a student organization at UCSD which aims to:

● provide a voice for Jewish students against the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories

● create a welcoming community for all students – Jewish or otherwise – whom are actively working for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict;

● foster a safe, open-minded campus environment for students to engage in constructive dialogue about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict;

● acknowledge the rights of Israelis and Palestinians to self-determined government

● uphold the human rights of all peoples, including Palestinians and Israelis, as inalienable

● acknowledge current human rights abuses in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; and

● champion efforts to bring an end to such abuses.
